April 6th: Japanese Watercolor Workshop

Join Aynur Küçük, an expert from the Japanese Art Center, for a serene and mindful afternoon immersed in the world of watercolors, with a focus on celebrating the beauty of nature. Throughout this workshop, you'll embark on a journey into the fundamentals of Japanese aesthetic principles, composition techniques, as well as mastering washes, textures, and color theory.

Under Aynur's guidance, you'll delve into the art of blending and layering watercolors, using traditional Japanese brushes on natural paper. By the end of the session, you'll proudly craft your own botanical painting to take home.

• Time: 14:00 - 17:00
• 8-10 participants per workshop.
• Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.
• All necessary equipment is provided.
• Snacks and light refreshments are included.

Location

All of our workshops take place at the Melez Tea Lab in Resitpasa. Reşitpaşa, Kongre Caddesi 81/A, İstanbul.
